Do your ears hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them in a bow?
Can you throw them o'er your shoulder
Like a Continental Soldier?
Do your ears hang low?

Another lonely holiday far away from family and friends. Compared to
last, this year I at least knew where to find a ham for dinner along with other traditional favorites. We even joined the
Finnish culture and had
pussy willows, grass, and colored feathers throughout the house for decoration. We were kindly invited to join an Easter Egg hunt and cookout Saturday. The boys filled their baskets with chocolates, candies, and toys. We have another hunt scheduled for next weekend too!

Our other Easter festivities included touring the
Post Museum to view their collection of Easter post cards dating back to 1890 and a boat ride to the island of
Suomenlinna to see an Easter Egg Exhibition at the church. We also dyed dozens of eggs thanks to Grandma!
